Washington DC Chapter

The Washington DC Chapter began as a grassroots community network in the fall of 2009. Kicking off with a well-received community awareness event in October 2009, the chapter quickly found its ground with a large set of volunteers representing the DC metro area. It  held its first fundraising gala in the summer of 2010 which was attended by over 300 participants. 

Two successful fundraisers later, the chapter has raised enough funds to build a new TCF school in rural Punjab, and also contributed 10 years of the school's operational support. Its third gala was held on May 5, 2012. For event updates, please join us on Facebook.
