Yet there is no alarm and no sense of impending doom amongst the political leaders of Pakistan.” [..] “Currently the reality is that teachers in public schools are not held accountable for something as basic as showing up for work. This has to change.” [..] “Importing American ‘experts’ would be considerably more expensive and not relevant to the needs of Pakistani society. There is no dearth of qualified professionals in Pakistan.”

An Education Emergency in Pakistan threatens tens of millions of children. The country has the second lowest school enrolment rate in the world. As the largest education non-profit in Pakistan, TCF is working to improve the situation.
