For Children to Learn, We Must Teach them in Languages they Understand.
Pandemic still holds back the vulnerable children
After a school term filled with anxiety and uncertainty, schools across the USA are reopening for in-person learning. Surveys indicate that children are happy and excited about going back to school, after not having met their friends and teachers physically, since the onset of the pandemic.
However, in Pakistan, with only 3.5% of the population vaccinated as of August 2021, the possibility for an in-person schooling is still unpredictable. The pandemic has only confirmed the glaring digital divide that exists in the country with 70% of children having no access to technology for learning.
As you send your children back to school, please support us in keeping the promise of a quality education for at least a single child enrolled in TCF and keep dreams alive.
