The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF-USA) observes strict confidentiality with regard to donor identity and donations. All donor data, donation amounts, and other personal information such as street address and email address are maintained under diligent control by TCF-USA’s management. This information is shared with staff, board of directors, volunteers and contractors only on a confidential and need-to-know basis. We do not sell or otherwise distribute our donor information to any third party.
Online donations to TCF-USA are safe and secure. TCF-USA uses industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect the confidentiality of personal information and the security of all transactions. We also collect (but do not retain) credit card numbers which are processed by a reputable third-party payment vendor subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards such as PayPal or a similar service.
