Behind the Numbers
Education is the answer
According to Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey (PDHS), 3.3% of girls are married off under the age of 15, while 18.3% of girls married off are under the age of 18.
Pakistan is, as noted by UNICEF, the country with the world’s second highest number of out of school children . With an estimated 22.8 million children aged 5-16 not attending school, representing 44 per cent of the total population in this age group.
Your support makes all the difference for these children. Amidst adversity, TCF students find hope in education and hold on tight to their dreams.
