A group of dedicated individuals started the St. Louis Chapter on September 10, 2011. The Chapter mobilized the community to build schools in the Ghazi Minara Sheikhapura, Punjab, where the need of quality education was great. The family of Nasira and Shahid Choudhary of Poplar Bluff, Missouri donated land for the construction of the campuses.
The St. Louis Community has built two schools, the St. Louis Primary Campus and the Gateway Arch Secondary Campus, in Ghazi Minara, Sheikhapura Punjab. The Gateway Arch Campus opened its doors to students in April 2017. A third primary school, the Ch. Abdul Karim & Safia Campus, which was built by an individual donor and has been operational since 2013, is addressing the need for education in the community. The Chapter’s goal is to provide continued support to its schools and students.
