Half Ironman Traithlon – Talal Khan

Half Ironman Traithlon - Talal Khan

A Half Ironman is a grueling triathlon event encompassing a 1.2 mile (1920m) open water ocean swim, a 56 mile (90km) bicycle ride, and a 13.1 mile (10km) run back to back. My aim is to participate in the Half Ironman on November 3, 2019 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

As I train for this event I have ample opportunity to reflect upon the opportunities education has created for me and my family and felt compelled to play a small part in helping the millions of children in Pakistan who lack access to quality education. I invite you to help me by supporting TCF-USA.

The Citizens Foundation, USA (TCF-USA) is a U.S. based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID #41-2046295) that supports the education of underprivileged children in Pakistan. It has an active network of over 30 chapters in cities across the United States.

Among other activities, TCF-USA supports specific programs, initiatives and projects of The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in Pakistan, one of the leading organizations in the field of education in that country. TCF was started in 1995 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to bring about social change through education. In 24 years, it has built and operates 1,567 purpose-built schools providing quality education to 252,000 children, with an all-female faculty of 12,000 teachers.

TCF-USA donors have built and support over 200 of these elementary & secondary schools with an enrollment of 65,000+ boys and girls.

All donations will go towards the TCF-USA Kansas Chapter Projects.
