TCF-USA Joins Philadelphia Love Run: Half Marathon

Event Date: March 25th, 2018
On March 25th, 15 runners successfully represented TCF-USA in the Philadelphia Love Run Half Marathon. They had a great experience throughout the event as they ran for education and raised funds for underprivileged children. They began and ended their run at 7:30 am in front of the Rocky Steps at Eakins Oval. After the run, the 15 runners and all present supporters of the TCF movement had a celebratory lunch at Lions Lake Park in Voorhees Township, New Jersey.
Kamran Hashmi, one of the runners, shared his thoughts on his experience. “This was our first ever marathon, so we were really excited. Raising money for TCF made it a worthy cause and an important obligation for us to not disappoint the children of Pakistan. The feeling that you can make a difference by using your feet and enduring cold weather is second to none. We pledge to do it again for the sake of Pakistani children who deserve quality education just like my own children”.
