Pakistani girl running New York City Marathon raises $10,000 for school in Karachi

Following the loss of her father just over a year ago, Hamna Zubair vested her time and energy in competing for the annual New York Marathon 2015, with the intention of raising funds for supporting The Citizen’s Foundation’s mission; to secure a better and brighter future for children in Pakistan through providing them access to quality education. After completion, Hamna has managed to raise funds to support a TCF Primary school located in the economically challenged community of Saleh Muhammad Goth, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi for an entire academic year.
